Early success
My passion for cake decorating and sugar craft began as a small child. I always remember my mother creating the most wonderful birthday cakes for me and my brother. I would spend hours looking through her books, marvelling at the designs.
When my own daughter had her first birthday party I decided I would carry on the tradition and I baked and decorated her birthday cake. Everyone at the party was most impressed with the results. Family and friends then began asking for celebration cakes in all shapes and sizes and before I knew it friends of friends too.
Works of art
After my success with friends and family, in 2009 I launched my business working from my home address in Warmley, Bristol.
The Custom Cake Shop is a 5 star registered food premises inspected by the South Gloucestershire Environmental Health Department and I am Food Hygiene Certificated.
I take pride in giving each cake my total dedication. I do not take on a large number of orders as each cake is an individual work of art.
